Write Way respects the privacy of all its (potential) customers. Your documents and input comprehends confidential data and (business) information. Moreover, we gather (personal) data if you use our documents and input coaching and other services. All your (personal) information and data is completely confidential, we handle everything carefully and we do not provide data to third parties.

This privacy statement applies to all (personal) data collected by Write Way. By personal data (“Personal Data”) we mean Personal Data within the meaning of Article 4 paragraph 1 of the AVG law. Write Way hereby qualifies as “Responsible” within the meaning of the Personal Data Protection Act and as “Processing Officer” within the meaning of the Dutch General Data Protection Regulation (“AVG”). Write Way keeps track of (Personal) data. It depends on the way you use our services, what data it concerns. Below we describe for each type of use which data we process, why we use it, on which legal basis and with which other parties we may share the data. We never share or sell data with (third) parties other than those mentioned below without your consent.

  1. You register via our Write Way community contact form

When you decide to start, you can register with us using the contact form and buy hourly-credit in our web shop, look up the number of hours you have used after you have started with the coaching program etc.

We process the following data:

  • First and last name;
  • Gender;
  • Address ;
  • Postal code;
  • City;
  • Country;
  • Telephone number;
  • Email address;
  • Age
  • Skype ID;
  • Educational level;
  • Education title;
  • Name of university;
  • Study;
  • Documents and input title;
  • Deadline documents and input;

Any documents sent by e-mail, such as assessment forms, (a draft of) your documents and input (proposal)

We do not process payment details. Payments take place via our secured online community and are securely processed . You may pay using iDEAL or PayPal.

With what purpose:

Write Way uses your data for the following purposes:

We use the information you enter in your Write Way account to process your payment in order to start with our services;

We use your documents and (personal) data to put you in contact with your personal documents and input coach and to provide this coach with the required information to be able to guide you in your documents and input;

To analyse this data for research purposes like academic statistical research, this happens completely anonymous.

Shared with whom:

We share this information with the documents and input coach who is matched to you and who will coach you through your documents and input.

Legal basis:

Processing the above-mentioned data is necessary for the execution of our services – in other words, the agreement that we have with you.

  1. When you contact us

When you contact us, for example by asking a question about our services yvettewriteway@gmail.com, social media or post, we use your Personal Data to respond to your question. We then register your question in our administration.

We process the following data:

Your first and last name;

Depending on how you contact us: your telephone number, e-mail address and / or home address;

Any documents that you send along, such as (a draft of) your documents and input (proposal);

Information about your documents and input and essential related information, such as your educational institution, your request for help, your documents and input topic, any deadline (s);

Your preferences in the area of our service and any additional details you provide us.

With what purpose

Write Way uses your data for the following purposes:

We use the data to improve our services;

We use the data to answer your questions and advise you, for example regarding the type of documents and input supervision, the amount of guidance hours or which documents and input supervisor suits you;

We use the data to help you if you have questions or complaints about our services.

Shared with whom:

We share this information with: our documents and input supervisor (s), for example to check your question or complaint with them or check their availability.

Legal basis:

The processing of the above data is necessary, depending on the reason why you contact us, to advise you or to help you with questions and / or complaints.

Additional transfer of personal data

In addition to the situations described above in which we share Personal Data, Personal Data collected by Write Way may be shared in case of:

A business transfer: in the event of sale, merger, reorganization or dissolution of Write Way or a comparable situation related to Write Way, Personal Data may be part of the assets to be transferred;

Legal obligations: if legally required or if you are sincerely convinced that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation (ii) to protect and defend our rights or property, (iii) in urgent situations to protect the personal safety of users of the website or the public, or (iv) to protect against legal liability, Personal Data will be disclosed or shared.

  1. How is your data protected?

Write Way understands that the safe storage of your Personal Data is important. The data stored in our database is protected by using current and up-to-date electronic security techniques, according to the applicable data protection standards. We encrypt all passwords, so that they are never visible for us.

Moreover, our website and Write Way online community is secured through a SSL certificate. You can check this when you surf on our website or community, you must always see a green lock, which is the standard indicator of an SSL certificate.

  1. How long is your data stored?

Write Way does not store your data longer than legally permitted and no longer than necessary for the purposes why your data is processed. How long certain data is stored depends on the nature of the data and the purposes for which it is processed.

  1. Access and correction of your data and other rights that accrue to you

Access, correction and deletion of your data

The details that you have filled in yourself, can always be viewed and modified in our Write Way community.

If you wish, Write Way can provide you an overview of the Personal Data and documents that are known by us. If the information proves to be incorrect, or if it is stored in violation of applicable laws and regulations, we will correct this information or remove it at your request.

Requests for viewing, correction or deletion of data can be submitted at any time by sending an e-mail to yvettewriteway@gmail.com. Write Way will then delete or modify your data within 4 weeks after confirmation.

Making an objection

If you do not agree with a certain way of processing your data, you can object to the processing at any time by sending an e-mail to yvettewriteway@gmail.com, We will respond to your objection as soon as possible after we received your e-mail, but in any case within 4 weeks.

Data portability

You are entitled to data portability. This means that you have the right to receive the Personal Data you have provided to us in a usable form to transfer it to another controller. If you want to receive your data in such a form, you can send an e-mail to yvettewriteway@gmail.com, We will contact you as soon as possible to discuss in which format you want to receive the data. We will respond to your request and provide the data after this contact within 4 weeks, and within 3 months at most if the request is complex.

Withdrawing previously given permission
